Class 03

This training allows you to operate the tandem truck with respect to various codes and regulations. You will be trained in proper vehicle inspection techniques, gear shifting sequences,  vehicle manoeuvring, positioning, backing techniques, and most important - "Safe Handling". 

With a huge amount of construction and mining operations ongoing throughout our province and country today, there is an endless need for class 03 operators. Many contractors, mine companies, government departments, oil companies and so on, all require class 03 operators. Each employer provides a competitive  wage, which broaden's each operator's horizons.

Prerequisites:

• Valid Class 05 licence (with 2 years experience) 

• Class 03 drivers' medical 

• Drivers Abstract

• Level III or equivalent, or mature student.  

The following MUST accompany any new application:

A completed MRD Medical, a current drivers abstract, a copy of your grade 12 diploma or transcript showing you have met the graduation requirements. Students who do not possess a grade 12 diploma may provide proof of high school equivalency in the form of an Adult Basic Education Certificate, students may enter as a mature student and successfully complete a Canadian Adult Achievement Test ( CAAT TEST) or WRAT.
